The Story Behind The Designer's Club Salon & Day Spa

Award winning hair designer, Carrie Santner entered the business of beauty in 1981 in both Indiana and the Chicagoland area.  Fueled with a vision and determination, The Designer's Club Salon & Day Spa opened it's doors for business in downtown Valparaiso, Indiana in 1985.
She attributes the success of The Designer's Club Salon to:

*Loyal clients who kept her chair filled

*The love of her husband John who supported her and assists with the business activities

*A skilled staff who demonstrate their talent and creativity on a a daily basis

*Her mother Celia, business manager and receptionist during the initial 10 years of the establishment

Carrie furthered her resume as an international educator for Paul Brown Hawaii products where she taught theory and technique to the North American market of the beauty industry (including Canada and Mexico).  This gave her the opportunity to work with the top educators in the country while also increasing her knowledge.

The greatest blessing for The Designer's Club came from the move to its current location on December 1st of 1998 and with its current staff who work very hard to keep the reputation of The Designer's Club highly respected to make you look and feel your best and to glorify God in all they do.

The Designer's Club Salon & Day Spa is not only the original day spa in the area, but is also unique in the pampering you will recieve.  All because we truly care about you, your body and soul. . .which is our Mission Statement.
